Virtue Summit Acupuncture & Herbs
Our Philosophy
The name Virtue Summit reflects the core values that guide this clinic. Virtue represents integrity, ethical practice, and respect for each patient as an individual. Summit represents the pursuit of the highest standard of care—through continual communication, thoughtful clinical judgment, and attention to detail. Together, the name expresses a commitment to practicing acupuncture with purpose, responsibility, and excellence.
We believe that acupuncture should be delivered with professionalism, clarity, and accountability. Care here is not rushed, standardized, or driven by volume. Each visit is approached with careful assessment, clear explanation, and intentional treatment planning based on the patient’s specific condition and goals.
Building on this philosophy, care emphasizes understanding underlying causes rather than focusing only on symptoms. Time is taken to explain findings, discuss realistic expectations, and ensure patients understand how acupuncture fits into their recovery process and long-term well-being.
Meet the Practitioner
Virtue Summit Acupuncture & Herbs was founded by Defeng Zheng, DAOM, L.Ac. a classically trained acupuncturist with extensive formal education and hospital-based clinical training in China.
Dr. Zheng completed his undergraduate medical education in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, followed by graduate training in Acupuncture, Moxibustion, and Manual Therapy at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.
